As for my week...
Montag: Went to the doctor for Sister Egbert. I hope I never
have to go to the doctor here. It is worse than America.
Dienstag: We stopped by the soup kitchen to sign up for another
day, because even though the nun is mean, we need to do service. We did it,
this time without the nun even saying anything to us! We also taught David and
Enrico. Enrico decided that our German is good enough now that he doesn't have
to speak English with us. So that has been different with him!
Mittwoch: We got to go to Berlin for a personally much
needed sisters meeting! I got to see a couple people from the MTC and Sister
Lisonbee! It was really good and I love President and Sister Kosak!
Donnerstag: We had distrikt meeting and I got your Easter
package! Thank you so much! Thank Grandma Bonnie also! She sent and a cute Valentine’s
day package. Sis. Egbert was grateful for all the stuff in there for her too!
Thanks! We also taught Trang! She is so cute and I love teaching her piano!
Freitag: We did weekly planning, focused a lot on David’s baptism
that is this NEXT week!! I hope everything works out! We also had a relief
society activity that was really fun! Crafts!
Samstag: We met with David again! Joni was there to, to help
translate! We taught tithing and he has some pretty cool stories about helping
other people!
Sonntag: Church! Then we ate as a ward and I made cookies.
Amazingly, they turned out even though I had to substitute for brown sugar and vanilla!
We also met with Lydia! I love her! She just broke up with her boyfriend of 2
and a half years! Poor girl! But she is still so great!
Well, not much time! Sorry! And my keyboard is broken, so
sorry for all of the missing e’s and r’s. I really do love you and pray for you
always! Keep David in mind! He is supposed to be baptized on Saturday! Love you!
Alles Liebe, Sister St. John
Berlin!
