Versetzt (Moves or Transfers)
Well Hallo again! It’s been a weird
weekend and...I still haven`t really packed! Just imagine trying to do
missionary work, Conference, Easter, AND pack your whole life up! Ugh! I will
be up late tonight! This email will be quick because we have an eating
appointment in 40 minutes that we still have to travel to!
Montag: FHE, and Enrico taught us
card tricks!
Dienstag: It was CRAZY weather! We
met with Schwester Schröter and then went finding in a park and it was SO
windy! I was scared I was going to get blown away! Then...it started raining!
And because it was windy it came in sideways! To say the least we were soaked.
I looked like I got thrown into a pool. In these moments I feel like a true
missionary! Soaked in the rain! People will talk to us though when we are
soaked. I think they have sympathy for us! We also met with Enrico and talked
about conference! It’s really cool for me to be able to share the
Spirit I've felt while being in the conference building so many
times!
Mittwoch: Zone training meeting! We
learned about teaching through testimony. Its my favorite way to teach! We also
ate at kfc again. All the elders like it there! Oh! This night we accidently
took the wrong tram line home and we were like 45 minutes walking distance from
home and it was raining. There was a lady by the bus stop and we talked to her.
She was from Ecuador and was married and studying here. She was waiting for her
husband to come pick her up and she offered us a ride! AH! Miracles do happen!
No busses or trams were running and we would have been SO late if she didn't
offer us that! So, moral of the story is that God answers prayers, and be nice
to everyone!
Donnerstag: Weekly planning, which
is pointless when you don't know if you are staying or leaving! We met with
David! Then we had Tausch (exchange). I went to Chemnitz with Sister Moffet!
And we went to a real ward council with a real ward mission leader!
Freitag: Tausch. I learned a lot
about being myself!
Samstag: We did emails and we went
to Leipzig to watch conference! We watched it in English and we watched the
women's meeting and then the Saturday morning live session! I also got my
transfer call! Stadthagen baby! Elder Becar (zone leader) said its like the
promised land of the mission! We will see!
Sonntag: eating appointment at the
Jentzsch´s! Their sons were there and it was fun! I am glad I got to eat with
them before I left! They really are my favorite family! They make fun of me a lot
like dad and Papa Mark do! We then went to the church and watched Sat.
afternoon with David, and then Sonday morning! (all but Pres. Ucktdorfs
talk! Internet froze!)
Well, wish me luck with transfers! Hopefully I can get on the right train and travel by MYSELF ok!! Have fun in San Diego! Love you guys! Enjoy the sunsets!
Love, Sister St. John
Trang and me with the piano that I teach her every week!
